ghs.google.com IP incompatible with certain domain providers and possible solutions.

If you host a blog online on BlogSpot with your own domain with certain providers, for example GoDaddy.com, you might encounter problems during setting up the IP record of A.

Sure, you can set your any subdomain as any CNAME redirecting to ghs.google.com, but you just cannot set it as the "@", giving you an error screen in the process that states that you must assign a valid IP address, not a domain name like ghs.google.com.

Following the tutorial of Blogspot help page, you should be able to set up "www.YourBlog.com" with ease.  Unfortunately, the case is very inconvenient and frustrating when you are attempting to host a blog in blogspot called "YourBlog.com".  It won't let you redirect to blogspot, and in fact, if you don't have a dedicated hosting with you, you might end up sending visitor of "YourBlog.com" to a blank page.

The problem can be temporarily evaded by directing typing in the IP address, for example: 72.14.207.121.  This will work for a short while but not permanently, but this should definitely help a bit.

UPDATE: afraid.org seems to be offering a solution for free, by providing an IP redirection service.  We will report more when we toy with it a bit later.

Any valid methods are welcome to share here.  Thanks!
